University Projects
Various projects submitted during my time at University (purely written assessments excluded).

Pool Simulation
Prolog Programming
Graphical Techniques
Top Trumps
Guessing Game & Monte Carlo Pi
10 Second Video

A brief overview of the different projects:

Pool Simulation
The pool simulation was developed as part of the Games AI and Simulation module in the third year. The main focus of the project was to become familar with and demonstrate an understanding of physics in a computer generated environment and the appropriate methods of programming involved.

Prolog Programming
Prolog is a logical programming language and the assessment (third year, under the Intelligent Systems module) was aimed at demonstrating an understanding of logical thinking in that regard. It's relatively simple, but that is all the assessment asked for.

Graphics Programming
Computer Graphics Programming was a module in the second year and the project was designed to demonstrate an understanding of OpenGL, graphical techniques and their implementation. The project doesn't look very pretty, but there's a going on in the background.

Top Trumps
Top Trumps was a programming assessment in the first year (in the Further Programming module) which was a chance to show an ability to adapt to a new medium without much prior knowledge. The game uses Windows Forms which hadn't been covered in the lectures and workshops.

Guessing Game & Monte Carlo Pi
The first programming assessment (in Introductory Programming, first year) was a simple command line based guess-the-number game, with an optional application for estimating Pi (using the Monte Carlo method) for additional credit.

10 Second Video
The 10 second video was an assessment in the Creative Technology module (first year) that was aiming to encourage creativity and demonstrate ability in video editing.
